Congratulations to The Conference Centre the winner of the Convene Auckland 2010 carboNZeroCertTM programme inaugural 'GREEN' award. The application form asked exhibitors to outline the steps they had taken to prevent, reduce, reuse, recycle or offset the environmental effects of their stand.
Judging was based on a number of factors, relating to the exhibitor’s stand and attendance at Convene (as opposed to their organisation in general).

Auckland Convention Bureau organised an exciting and educational variety of famil options for all buyers attending Convene Auckland 2010 including Waiheke Island, South of Auckland, Adventure Auckland and Venues, Venues, Venues. The familarisation experiences were a great introduction for buyers to products and services on offer in the wider Auckland area. Transport for the familiarisation programmes was kindly sponsored by Pavlovich Coachlines.

Convene Auckland is aimed at corporates who organise events in the
greater Auckland area from Northland to Waikato. In the past years more
than 350 key decision makers visited the one day event, with a strong
turn-out from professional incentive and conference organisers and
other administrative professionals who organise their company's
functions, road shows, Christmas parties, staff incentives,
conferences, seminars and other special events.
