Convene showcases function, meeting and event facilities in the greater Auckland area (from Northland to Waikato) to buyers from New Zealand and Australia. The exhibition allows anyone who organises corporate events (from the company Christmas party to a major conference) to source a diverse range of products and services under one roof, on one day.

The 2012 exhibition will be held in Auckland at the Viaduct Events Centre on Tuesday May 1.

Entry to the Convene exhibition is free and includes access to educational seminars and entertainment profiles during the networking breaks. Convene has a huge range of exhibitors showcasing what event services and products they can offer corporate events, including venues large and small, hotels, corporate retreats, convention centres, wineries, activity operators, cruising companies, caterers, team building companies, transport operators, theming companies - just to name a few.
 

Buyer registrations now open

Delegates wishing to experience the innovation and inspiration that Convene 2012 is all about can now register online as a buyer or hosted buyer. Buyers can expect to see a diverse floor of over 150 exhibitors showcasing their event specialities. 

Convene 2012 will host several informative seminars, offering professional event organisers solutions on how to maximise sources so events achieve the desired ‘wow’ factor. 

Buyers from Auckland are able to visit the conveniently located Viaduct Events Centre at any time during the 9am – 5pm expo. Those from out of Auckland or from Australia can apply as hosted buyers to receive complimentary flights, travel transfers and accommodation in addition to their attendance at Convene.

Who attends Convene as buyers

Convene is aimed at corporates who organise events in the greater Auckland area from Northland to Waikato. In 2011 451 key decision makers pre-registered to attend the one day event on April 12, with a strong turn-out from professional incentive and conference organisers and other administrative professionals who organise their company's functions, road shows, Christmas parties, staff incentives, conferences, seminars and other special events.
